Ethos: The group's field trips are organised by its members to recognised sites thought to possess good numbers of birds at different times of year, such as during spring and autumn migration periods.
The group is run democratically, all members having a say on our annual programme of meetings.
We like to keep numbers limited to 12 to minimise noise and disturbance and maximise bird sightings.
We are not experts and in true U3A form, like to learn from each other.
We like to share transport to more distant sites to keep costs down and make a minimal carbon footprint.
